- Farnell Newton Composer/Trumpeter was born on March 21, 1977, in Miami, Fl where he was exposed to many forms of music from jazz, salsa, funk, and hip-hop. Farnell has performed as well as recorded with many musicians from Aretha Franklin, Jaguar Wright, Liv Warfield, James Moody, Muhal Richard Abrams, Thara Memory, Mel Brown, Bobby Torres and Ricardo Lemvo y Makina Loca.
Farnell is putting his diverse musical background into his music production for local artist in Portland, OR from Sociable Thugs, Jungle Entertainment Group, Mr. Cha'lee, & is now branching out to provide music to up & coming artist. Are you looking for a live band for Hip-Hop, Jazz, Soul, R&B & Funk? We have some of the best musicians in the country in our roster for live entertainment.
